Georgie is super sassy with a confident attitude that often gets her in trouble with her demon boss Jerome. Nonetheless, she still strives to be his teacher's-pet. Georgie's romantic interest never fail to bring out her best and worst qualities. This is definitely a sexy series, but not empty in plot.

Dorina is the daughter of Mircea, the love interest of Cassandra Palmer in the series of the same name. Dorina is a dhampir and doesn't have a great relationship with her dad. I'd recommend reading this after Cassandra Palmer. You'll see lots of characters you know and love in this new spin-off.

Kate Daniels is one of my favorite heroines. She's lethal with a sword and knows it. She loves to kill and can be down right scary when she's mad. She's also funny, humble, and can infuriate the most patient of people. Not a lot of romance, but definitely a mesmerizing tango going on between her and the Lord of the Beasts. One of my fave new urban fantasy series!

This series is incredibly addictive. Lots of chemistry between Cat, a vampire hunter (albeit inexperienced), and Bones, a master vampire. Cat agrees to help Bones take care of some dirty work in exchange for finding her vamp daddy. Bones' character is similar to Spike in appearance and attitude.

This is book 1 in the Queen Betsy series. It's more a chick-lit read and is pretty fun, but it does have its frustrating moments.
